The residential streets in the Westgate neighborhood of the Kiln Creek community need to be resurfaced (the streets of this neighborhood are the responsibility of Newport News City) as the streets' current condition is hazardous to the residents, especially to children and the elderly. If one falls on these streets in its current condition, they will be subject to a high risk of severe lacerations, skin abrasion, and potential hospitalization with possibility of dangerous life threatening infections
