The pavement is eroded all the way inside the white line. The abyss is at least a foot deep and the length of a car. My front tire dropped off the right and my car got stranded. Had to call 911. The police officer called a City contracted tow company to pull me out. The abyss is wet and muddy but it hadn't been raining. The pavement looks as if it is continuing to deteriorate. It looks like this didn't just happen...Have heard from others this almost happened to them, too.
